I can't see why not.
The fonts available to you will be those on your system, so in the resultant html, it will specify the font to be displayed.
If the viewer's computer has that font, then great, it will be displayed as you intend.
If I go to view it, I know I don't have any cyrillic fonts loaded, the results could be unpredictable, Worst case, I may get to see a load of wingdings which would be very strange.
If you can find a websafe cyrillic font, even better, or use a google font (or similar) that loads as the page loads- you may need some code for that.
